I dreamed an idea today that makes adds a whole new dimension to this story.
In Euphorica 90% of the population lives the same. Same routine. Same houses. Same cars. Freaky. They're all working to build the water purifier.
All the eccentric ones (amelia, rafael, etc.) all live in the hills in a madhouse. Everyone thinks they are insane so they have to stay there.
But these are the people who end up discovering the water purifier and saving Euphorica.
